Artist statement: 

The goal of this project was to create  t-shirt logo for the kids summer camp called Build-It. This project tok a lot of planning and was tricky on many levels. I had an idea in mind at first but then it didn't work out what soever so I changed it completely. To make this project I used photoshop. I used line and grid tools to make the lego block and then I found a cartoon lego man image that was legal to download and modify and I changed his colours and the was he was facing, I had to play around a lot with different tools to get the look for the overall design I was going for. I think the idea for my logo was pretty good but some things I changed if I could would be to add some shading to the lego block and also make the "Build-It" letters black becasue they wouldnt change colour since I got the font from dafont.com.  Overall I had a rough time with this project but I tried my best.
