Artist Statment-

This assignment had the goal of recreating one of the poster examples made by graphic designer Mike Joyce that I  thought reoresented one of the principles of design the best. I choose the one with a bunch of different sized circles to represent proportion. I had to recrate this design on Adobe Photoshop and add my own twist to it.

I used the tool Kuler to help me with my colour scheme, and applied it in my photoshop design. One thing I found particularly difficult was making sure all the circles were proportionally layed out and the sizes were all balanced with one another, but I think my overall design turned out well and using the grid over top of my piece and holding the shift key while making my circles to make sure they were proportional really helped me to make it the best I could.
